APEKS Models Entered

Apeks Gnss entered seven receivers into GNSS Battle 2026, an independent multi-brand GNSS accuracy and performance competition held in Russia. 21 receivers from 8 brands competed across two test environments. The results are confirmed: APEKS AP80 Pro tookGrand Champion (1st place). AP20 AR finished 2nd. AP40 Laser+ finished 4th and MAX5 finished 5th — placing four APEKS models in the top 5 of a 21-receiver field. No other single manufacturer placed more than one model in the top 5. APEKS, represented by Russian distributor Апекс Рус, was the largest single-brand entrant and the dominant performer of the competition.

The APEKS Lineup — Seven Models Across the Full Product Range

APEKS entered its full product range, from the flagship AP80 Pro down to the compact APS1 handheld. This breadth of entry gives observers the opportunity to evaluate how a single manufacturer's technology scales across different form factors and price points.

AP80 Pro — ALL IN ONE.
120m laser · AR stakeout · Visual measurement · 3D modelling.
One receiver. Every scenario.

AP60 Vision (entered in the competition list as AP20 AR) is the AR visual stakeout model. It combines dual‑camera augmented reality with a 120° IMU and built‑in 4G NTRIP, enabling the surveyor to see stakeout points directly on the screen.

AP40 Laser+ integrates a 120‑metre green laser for offset measurement, the same 120° IMU, and built‑in 4G connectivity. It is aimed squarely at construction and infrastructure survey.

AP30 Laseroffers the laser‑equipped Rtk Rover in a more compact package, sharing the core measurement engine of its larger siblings.

AP10is the entry‑level 1408‑channel Rtk Receiver. It demonstrates that even APEKS's most accessible model carries the same Unicore UM980 board and full‑constellation specification found in the flagship.

APS1 is the lightest receiver in the competition at just 210 grams. This compact handheld RTK holds an IP67 rating and a battery life of at least 10 hours.

MAX5 is the only dedicated base station in the APEKS entry. With a 5‑watt LoRa radio, a 25‑kilometre correction broadcast range, and a 13,200 mAh internal battery, it supports all six rover models simultaneously during the test.

The Field — 21 Receivers, Multiple Brands

APEKS competes alongside 20 other receivers representing eight brands. The full participant list, as published by the GNSS Battle organisers, is shown below.

What Is Being Tested

GNSS Battle 2026 runs across two days, each targeting a distinct operating environment.

Day 1 — Urban Environment: GNSS positioning accuracy is evaluated in an urban built-up area where signal multipath and partial sky obstruction are significant factors. The laser receiver category is also contested on Day 1.

Day 2 — Forest Environment: GNSS positioning accuracy is evaluated under forest canopy, testing signal tracking stability and Fixed solution hold rate under heavy overhead obstruction.

All results are determined by measured data. Final scores and rankings will be published on the official GNSS Battle blog approximately two weeks after the test session.
